Registration has to be done no later than August 2nd.
The conference fee is 2150 SEK including coffee and tea in the pauses, lunches 17th and 18th August, and the conference proceedings which are planned to be published by the end of 2024.
- If you are a student, an early career researcher or other early career professional (heraldic artist, employee/intern of an heraldic office, museum curator, archivist and heritage professional etc.) having difficulties paying this fee, we offer 30 discounts à 1000 SEK. To apply for such a discount, send a message to lund2023@heraldik.org and attach 1) a brief CV including information about your current position and your activities within heraldry, and 2) a brief justification for your application for a discount. If you are granted a discount, you will get a discount code to use when paying the fee.
- If you are an accompanying person, and you do not want your own copy of the proceedings but want to take part in the lunches and have the opportunity to visit the lectures and have coffee and tea in the pauses, there is a reduced fee, 400 SEK instead of 2150 SEK. To get the discount code you need, send a message to lund2023@heraldik.org and inform us about whom you are accompanying.
The fee for the banquet, 18th August, is 1050 SEK. It includes refreshments and a three course dinner with beverages included at Akademiska Föreningen. Dress code: Evening dress with decorations. Following the long-established tradition of Lund University, gentlemen are invited to wear white tie. Black tie, mess dress, dark suit and national costume could also be worn.
The fee for tours in Lund, 19th August, is 300 SEK. During the afternoon, we will visit places of heraldic and historic interest in the city centre of Lund. For the ones that subscribe, we will later provide alternative tours to choose from. Tours are fully booked.
